Spurs beat Sonics, stay game up on Mavs
Tony Parker had 27 points and nine assists, and the San Antonio Spurs increased their lead in the Western Conference to one game by beating the Seattle SuperSonics 104-95 Tuesday night.
San Antonio (60-18) recorded a 60-win season for the third time in franchise history, the last coming when the Spurs won the NBA title in the 2002-03 season.
The Spurs lead Dallas by a game for the best record and the top seed in the West.

Ray Allen got the final say Sunday night in his escalating feud with San Antonio's Bruce Bowen. Allen's 3-pointer with 5.4 seconds left capped a 33-point performance and gave the Seattle SuperSonics a 106-102 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Lewis sidelined with ankle sprain (AP)
Seattle forward Rashard Lewis sat out the SuperSonics' game in Houston on Wednesday night with a sprained right ankle. The 6-foot-10 Lewis, Seattle's second-leading scorer, had 14 points when he turned his ankle with 3:12 left in the Sonics' 98-97 win over Memphis on Tuesday night.
